Blogging at the Nieman Conference

This weekend, I’ll be heading “home” to Boston for the Nieman Narrative Journalism Conference. Here is a list of speakers, as well as a list of participants. I’ll do my best to blog during the sessions I attend, so I hope you’ll visit Word on the Street and offer feedback on the posts.

If you’re looking for a good read, check out Poynter’s Wonders of the Journalism World project. I contributed to the project with the help of my talented colleagues, Roy Peter Clark and Ellyn Angelotti.

  1. Hi Mallary,

Great stuff! Thanks for blogging the Nieman Conference 08 which I had to miss because of work commitments in Singapore. I’ve since ordered a set of the audio recordings and would like to access the transcripts or handouts. I attended the Nieman Editors’ Seminar in 2006 and have been sharing the insights I gleaned there in my media writing workshops in Asia.

  2. Thanks for tuning in. My hope was that the blog would serve as a resource for those who were unable to attend the conference, so I’m glad you found it helpful!
